Dr. Alison Cash

About

My name is Alison Cash and I am originally from the Cleveland, Ohio area. I am a dual degree, DVM/PhD., student at Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine with an interest in infectious disease transmission and diagnostic pathology at the wildlife-agricultural interface. I hope to pursue a career in field veterinary medicine or research to promote conservation and food safety. I love being outdoors and exploring new areas so I'm excited for this opportunity interning with the St. Louis Zoo's Institute of Conservation Medicine to learn more about conservation efforts and expose me to field work!
