About

My name is Arina, and I am a senior completing a BS in Ecology, Evolution and Conservation as well as an Accelerated Bachelor’s to Master’s in French. In Forest Park, I lead the project studying two great horned owls named Astrid and Edward. We hope to compare their diet and movement patterns to those of other urban, as well as rural, owls to better understand how rapid urbanization is affecting the behavior of apex predators and thus impacting the larger food web.
