Hey there, my name is Nikhil Samayam and I’m a junior studying Neuroscience. I’m currently working on the Biosphere Project for the Forest Park Living Laboratory. The purpose of this project is to introduce children to biological ecosystems in a fun and interactive way. The goal is to present lessons on ecosystem interaction to local school children and inpatients at the St. Louis Children's hospital by creating 1 gallon biospheres containing biological material (such as water, sediment, or even living creatures) from various locations in the park to see how they interact and coexist in a fully sealed ecosystem.
