Red foxes are omnivorous, meaning they eat many kinds of food: rabbits, rodents, birds, fruit, frogs, and even human garbage. Red foxes are found around the world, and tend to prefer habitats like forests and grasslands. Litters of pups are typically born in March or April, inside protected den areas. Red Foxes are primarily nocturnal, so look for them at dawn and dusk in Forest Park!
